Bakemono Bakers Reviews

  • Best Croissants I Tried

Indeed one of the best croissants I tried. I’ve been here 3 times and only the third time I realised I missed the review. Croissants were so good and a coffee with an almond croissant is enough for the whole day. Staff members were Japanese means of course they were very friendly and professional.

  • Good Taste but Little Wait

A short little queue to make your order. They have a display cabinet to show what is on offer that day and whether the pastry is still available. This ensures that you have already made up your mind by the time you reached the order.

  • Soft Yet Crunchy

Sesame and sea salt was divine! Soft yet crunchy, sweet and salty, the sesame flavour was perfect. The Spinach and ricotta Danish was also Very nice, pastry was flaky and crunchy, the spinach and ricotta filling was substantial.

  • Good coffee and great Yuzu Almond

Down an alleyway, baked goods smell wafting down the street beside it. Good coffee and great Yuzu Almond Croissant. Flaky pastry, little chew on the middle to break up the flakiness

This multi award winning bakery is a must visit when in Melbourne, once you sample their product you’ll soon understand why. It’s one of the highest quality pastry types you’ll find anywhere in the world.

  • The Bakery in The Town

It’s THE bakery in town. You can trust to always find a long line in front. So be early (7am ish) if you want better selection. For very good reason of course. Tried the yuzu americano, surprisingly smooth.

  • Best Croissant & Canele

One of the Best Croissant and Canelé I had taste for a while. Slight waiting in queue for 10mins, but worth the wait. Definately will be back if we are near the city.

  • Best Bakery in Melbourne

The best bakery in Melbourne. Obsessed with the honey sesame swirl, but have tried a bunch of other things and they’re sooo good. Coffee is nice too.

  • Solid Bakery in Melbourne

A very solid bakery in Melbourne CBD. We rocked up a bit later in the day so it was mostly sold out, so we picked up a couple of croissants which were very good.
